Overall result of the four 1st XIs—played 93. won 71, drawn 8, lost 14.
Joint winners of Payne Shield (Manchester Catholic Schools Knock-out Competition)in Fourth Form.
Finalists in Gilligan Cup (Manchester Catholic Schools Knock-out Competition) in Second Form.
A.Zaslona and M.Devine were selected for Manchester Catholic Schools Liverpool v Catholic Schools.

Healey was Lancashire Shot-put Champion and Salford Diocesan Champion. A.Hurley came third in Lancashire Schools Hurdles final. A.Ascroft, T.Healy and A.Hurley represented Manchester Schools. |
BASKETBALL
Winners of Manchester Schools Championships in 1st and 2nd year and finalists in 3rd year
Winners of Manchester Catholic Schools Championships in 2nd and 3rd years and finalists in 4th year.
P. Bentley, C. Hobin and A. Zaslona represented Manchester Schools, and P. Bentley played for the N. England team.
CROSS-COUNTRY
The under-15 team won the team trophy and the aggregate trophy in the South Manchester League, the team trophy in the Manchester Schools’ Championship and the Catholic Guardian Cup in the Manchester Catholic Schools’ Championship, and were runners-up in the N.E. Cheshire League.
B. Connor, A. Hurley, M Moran and J. O’Donovan represented South Lancashire and South Manchester in qualifying events for the National Schools’ Championships.
RUGBY FOOTBALL
Overall result of the three XV’s—played 48, won 35. drawn 6, lost 7
The under-14 XV were undefeated against Manchester Schools
K.Buckley and T.Healey represented Manchester Schools.
The Manchester Teachers’ Memorial Trophy was presented to the School by the Manchester Schools’ Games Federation on 8th December, 1967.
