PS: ( Re 1966 entry form names) Sorry, in view of Andrew Newby's comment (9th March) I must have been mistaken extrapolating from the name of my own (I think) 1H - not so sure now what Jim McCabe and Mike Brennan's forms were called, though in mitigation none of us needs reminding that it's nearly 50 years ago...
In September 1967 the Head made me form master of the 'express stream', which I seem to remember was called 2W - I hope that's right. However, unlike an impressive number of former pupils, I have kept no documentation from my time teaching at St. Augustine's, so I can't corroborate any of this, I'm afraid.
Thank you very much for this website. It has brought back so many memories - though of varying accuracy. Best wishes to all.

Re. first class listed of 1966 intake, it
was called, as far as I recall, 1H. The others were similarly named after their form masters, Jim McCabe and Mike Brennan. We were all just starting our teaching careers.
