I'm ok thanks ,how's yourself mate? I've just had the post mortem on Saturday's game from a colleague. Apparently City had a good 70 mins until Zola scored and then we just collapsed.The score definitely did not reflect the run of play. If we can play like that against the lower clubs we should be okay.So DON'T PANIC CAPT MAINWARING!!
Anyway, the replica strips in the 60's were a bit basic compared to today's fancy affairs; just a sky blue shirt with white collar and cuffs.I'm sure they were much cheaper than they are now. I got mine for Christmas one year and didn't take it off all holiday.
It was tough being a blue back then-we really got some stick from the red rabble.Still, it was well worth it to follow the better side.
I was amazed at weekend.There was a programme on about the top 100 Great Britons of all time and Joe Mercer never got a mention!
