No idea what dialectical materialism means.

But never in the decades of hunting in the Manchester night life scene did I ever meet anyone who accomplished all three targets of curry, alcohol and tottie (in that or any order). At the end of the night..the curry houses were full of those who had failed to 'bag tottie' either through bad chat up techniques or an excess of alcohol (usually a mixture of the two) whilst those who had 'bagged tottie' aimed for carnal pleasures before either them sobered up enough to realise what a dog they were with!

If that is what dialectical materialism is about then one of the great benefits of doing it in Manchester is that it has never (and still doesn't) cost unfeasibly large sums. A decent skinful of Marstons in the Red Lion, Didsbury and a curry down Rusholme still costs less then the starter in some London restaraunts.

As I cannot make a comment on this site without Mannion responding in his inimitable Aussie effected tones I await with interest what he has to reveal about Kangaroo Kormas and Dingo bahjis.
